About our Journals.
Every journal from Chemo & Co. has been thoughtfully created to be both practical and beautiful – something you’ll want to reach for on even the hardest days.
Each one is:
A5 hardback – the perfect size to carry to appointments or keep by your bedside
Antibacterial cover – for peace of mind during treatment when immunity may be low
120gsm white paper – thick enough to prevent ink bleeding and gentle to write on
Gold wire-bound – easy to flip open and write comfortably, wherever you are
Proudly made in the UK – supporting local production and quality craftsmanship
How to use them.
There’s no right or wrong way to use your journal. You can write in it every day, or only when you need it.
Some people use it to prepare for appointments, track medications, or keep notes from their team. Others find it helps them process emotions, reflect on progress, or communicate with loved ones. Many do a mix of it all.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, in remission, or supporting someone you love – there’s a journal to help you feel more seen, supported, and less alone in it all.
“These aren’t mass-produced notebooks. They’re journals with heart – designed by someone who’s lived through the reality of cancer, and made to support you through yours.”
— Hollie, Chemo & Co Founder
The Starting Point
“For those newly diagnosed”
Being told you have cancer is one of the most disorienting moments a person can face. Suddenly there’s a flood of information, decisions to make, appointments to keep track of, and emotions that don’t always make sense.
The Starting Point is a journal designed for those very first weeks after diagnosis – the time when everything feels loud, fast, and uncertain.
Inside, you’ll find space to:
Write down questions for your team
Keep track of appointments and test results
Record important information about your diagnosis and treatment plan
Reflect on how you’re feeling
There is no pressure to be positive – just room for clarity, quiet, and small moments of control when everything else feels overwhelming.
Chemo & Me
“For those starting chemotherapy”
Chemotherapy can feel like stepping into the unknown – full of side effects, schedules, and a whole new language you didn’t ask to learn. Chemo & Me is here to help make sense of it all.
This journal is a companion through your treatment. A place to:
Track symptoms, side effects, and how your body is responding
Record medications and cycles
Prepare for treatment days
Reflect on your emotional ups and downs without judgement
The pages are gentle and flexible – whether you want to track every detail or just check in with how you’re feeling. There’s no “right” way to use it, only what’s right for you.
Designed by someone who’s been through it, Chemo & Me is practical, but it’s also personal – because chemo isn’t just medical. It’s emotional too.
The Other Side
“For those supporting a loved one through cancer”
When someone you love is diagnosed with cancer, your world shifts too. You’re suddenly trying to stay strong, hold everything together, and be there in ways you’ve never had to be before. But there’s no guidebook for how to do that and your own emotions often take a backseat.
The Other Side is a journal created for you.
Inside, you’ll find space to:
Learn things about how to support your loved one
Keep track of treatment dates and appointments
Note helpful things you’ve learned along the way
Take care of your own mental health in the process
It’s a reminder that you matter too. That supporting someone through cancer is its own kind of hard and you deserve space to feel, process, and breathe.
Whether you’re a partner, parent, sibling, or friend, this journal is here to walk alongside you through the unknowns of the other side of cancer.
Remission Reflections
“For life after treatment ends”
Being told you’re in remission is something you’ve hoped for — but no one really talks about what comes next. The world expects you to celebrate, move on, get back to “normal”… but inside, it can feel more complicated than that.
Remission Reflections is a journal for the quiet space after treatment. A space where the dust settles, and you begin to process everything you’ve just been through.
Inside, you’ll find prompts and pages to:
Reflect on your experience and what it’s changed in you
Rebuild routines, goals, and self-trust
Sit with the questions, fears, and hopes that come with remission
This journal doesn’t assume you’re “back to yourself.” It gives you the space to find out who you are now — and permission to do that at your own pace.
The Partner Pages
“A back-and-forth journal for couples facing cancer together”
When cancer enters a relationship, it changes the dynamic — not just in the day-to-day, but in how you talk, connect, and support one another. Sometimes it’s hard to say the right thing out loud, or to know how your partner is really coping.
The Partner Pages is a shared journal designed to help couples communicate during one of the hardest seasons of their lives.
It’s a back-and-forth journal, meaning you each take turns responding to gentle prompts, sharing thoughts, fears, encouragement, or simply checking in.
Inside, you’ll find:
Guided questions to spark open, honest conversation
Space to write to each other when words are hard to say aloud
Pages for gratitude, frustration, laughter, and love — all of it
A keepsake to look back on, together, when the storm has passed
This journal isn’t just about cancer — it’s about staying connected, even when everything else feels uncertain. A quiet way to say, “I’m still here. And I see you.”
The Future of Chemo & Co
What’s coming next…
Treatment-Specific Journals
We’re working on journals for radiotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, clinical trials, brachytherapy, and stem cell transplants — each designed to help you understand your treatment and stay grounded through it.
Chemo & Co. is a small business, but we have big plans. Our journals are being released in stages so we can take the time to make each one thoughtful, helpful, and rooted in real experience.
Eventually, we aim to support every part of the cancer journey — for patients, loved ones, and anyone touched by a diagnosis.
Here’s just a glimpse of what’s coming:
Emotional Support
In time, we’ll be releasing journals to support those navigating incurable diagnoses, end-of-life planning, legacy writing, grief, and the emotional toll cancer can take on fertility, menopause, and identity.
For Families and Children
We’re also building back-and-forth journals for parents and children, as well as guides for talking about cancer with younger family members and teens.
